LANY

To play KOKO on March 8

Wednesday, March 8, 2017

Los Angeles-based trio LANY (which stands for Los Angeles New York) was formed in Nashville in 2014 by three friends: Paul Jason Klein, Leslie Priest and Jake Goss. Crafting dreamy pop with an R&B spirit, the members of LANY are multi-instrumentalists who studied music in college. Their music combines the feel of '80s radio pop, '90s R&B soul, and atmospheric synths. LANY's first two songs -- "Hot Lights" and "Walk Away" were recorded in just in four days.

The band have built a large following while on the road, touring with Troye Sivan, Ellie Goulding, Halsey and more. Their third EP, the six-track 'Make Out', culled tracks from their previous releases and includes the song "ILYSB" ("I Love You So Bad") which was a massive hit online, reaching over 14 million streams.

Tickets for this event go on sale at 10AM on Friday 13 January.
